project overview
Fruit-Fiber Vessel explores the transformation of discarded fruit waste into functional, biodegradable vessels.
By extracting fibers from fruit skins, seeds, and pulp, the project develops a leather-like biomaterial that can be baked, molded, and shaped into delicate yet durable containers. Through hands-on experimentation with citrus and other fruits, the project reveals how organic matter can be re-crafted into expressive material artifacts, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional fabrication.
